News Review

I have noticed just before the start of summer, there's always a major missing person/murder story. To be honest, this happens almost every other day, but for some reason there's always a certain one that gets alot of media coverage, people talking about it and you find yourself praying for the families involved and sometimes be on the verge of tears for the families, usually just before you start having your summer-fun.

So far, the life of young 15 years-old Kiyan Prince was stolen on Thursday, May 18th, he was stabbed while trying to break up a random fight on his way back from school - evidently, another anger related crime where the person who stabbed him (allegedly a 16 yr old was seen running from the scene), probably just wanted to scare Kiyan, only Lord knows. But God has a reason for everything, including making people stay on earth for a short period of time. Kiyan may your young Soul rest in perfect peace. Amen

Then, five illegal immigrants had the nerve to work for The British Home Office as cleaners, one having worked there for 3yrs, but you know what they say, everyday for the thief, one day for the owner, sha dey don catch dem and making a big deal about it, surprisingly, yes they are Nigerians and I wander what each one is thinking right now!?!

pinaija, good ol' naija
trust nigerians- Big Balls they,ve got.imagine illegals working in the Home Office. Am based in Naija here but I guess the proper analogy is an illegal immigrant working strutting his stuff in the Ministry of Internal Affairs here- Hmm great stuff, like in the Spy movies - or, has anyone explored the option that perhaps they might be working on an assignment for the Nigerian Secret Service here (SSS)- u know, moles trying to get info and all. Could be oo!
Really wish we could translate some of these energies into more positivities. Ciao!

As for the illegals, if that isn't taking the piss then I don't know what is. How ridiculous can people be?

Why is everyone getting on the case of the Nigerian illegal immigrants? I visited Tunisia recently and our tour guide said the major source of income in the country was Tunisian nationals abroad sending money home, this was even higher than tourism, imagine? Anyway back to the point I have nothing but respect for these people and am saddened that they are being sent back to Nigeria. Who knows how many children they were putting through school while they were doing their honest menial jobs.

George Bush is in the middle of granting amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants in the states. When I got to work on Monday and people were discussing this I wasn't upset (like I would be if it was 419 scam) I am proud of these people working hard to earn a living.
